LAHORE, PAKISTAN – You know what they say about playing with fire!

Fanning the flames of hate and intolerance proved fatal for a protesting Pakistani man who burned “old Glory” at an anti-American rally and ended up choking to death on its star-spangled smoke.

According to the Karachi based Express Tribune, while at a U.S. flag burning rally in Pakistan protesting the recent, low-budget movie “Innocence of Muslims”, Ismail Abdullah got a little too close to the fire of our burning banner and became sick after swallowing a mouthful of smoke from the icon of independence. He was later whisked to a nearby hospital, where the choker… croaked.

Poetic justice; or just some toxic, Chinese made flags?
