Dogs dumped after new Texas breeder law
FLOWER MOUND, TEXAS – Cops have rounded up 51 Maltese pups that had been living in absolute filth on Tuesday. The dogs were discovered in the middle of the night, wondering along a dark road.
To make matters even worse, about 24 hours later, another 40 dogs appeared 30 miles north.
Police suspect this may go back to a new law. About a month ago, Texas started requiring dog and cat breeders to be licensed and inspected.
Now two animal cruelty investigations are going on, but police suspect the cases are linked.
The rescued little guys will go up for adoption soon.
