KINGSTON, JAMAICA – Only 6 more weeks of hurricane season, but Sandy just made the cut.

The hurricane dropped more than 12 inches of rain across the tropical island, some parts even getting as much as 20 inches. Much of the islanders refused to evacuate for fear their belongings would be stolen.

Experts predict Sandy could hit Cuba next and possible reach the southeast coast of Florida by the end of the week.

Let’s just hope Sandy stays in the water and leaves land alone.
