Talk about a cheap date. A recent study shows that more and more people are busting out coupons on a first date.

A study commissioned by found that 26% of people have used discount codes to entertain prospective partners.

And more people are okay with that. In fact 26% of those surveyed said they would react positively to a coupon-financed rendezvous, up from 18% last year.

Only 1% said they would walk out on a date that used a coupon, while 12% said they would bite their tongue but not go on a second date.

I would be part of that 12%. In my opinion it’s all about first impressions and dating is an investment. If you don’t have the time or money SAVE us both the hassle and don’t bother asking me out.

What do you think about using a coupon on a first date? Serve up your thoughts.
