Can I get an “Oh Yes!” Ladies if you need a little bedroom boost this story is for you. Breaking news…there may soon be a female Viagra. But this doesn’t come in the pill form it’s a spray…nasal spray. Wait you want me to stick that where?! Isn’t that the wrong hole?

14 years after Viagra hit the market to help the boys out a new female sex-enhancing nasal spray called Tefina is undergoing clinical trials. According to researchers, the spray can boost sex drive for one out of three women. This is good considering 43% of women have sexual dysfunction that includes over 40 million in the U.S. alone. OMG!

So here’s how it works; the testosterone gel is sprayed up the nose, becomes effective in two hours, and produces no adverse androgen-related side effects like body hair or a deepened voice. Good to know.

Professor Susan Davis of Women’s Health Group tells Glamour magazine that up to a third of women are affected by anorgasmia meaning they have difficulty achieving orgasm after ample sexual stimulation, but the only treatments available are psychotherapy and sex therapy. She says a treatment is necessary because women who report poor sexual functioning have lower well being.
