ITALY – A recent study found traces of drugs floating around eight Italian cities.

Drug of choice; marijuana and cocaine. Lesser drugs, like nicotine and caffeine were also detected.

The cities in question: Rome, Milan, Florence, Bologna, Naples, Palermo, Verona and Turin. The lowest concentrations were found in Palermo, with the highest found in Turin.

The study also found that higher amounts of marijuana and nicotine were detected in the winter months, which could shed light into season affective disorder, or “SAD.” This will also make you “sad”: don’t hop on a flight to Italy if you want to Bogart a buzz.

The drugs particles were large enough to be measured, but not enough to affect people.
