HOUSTON, TX – We certainly hope you were one of the many Americans working the polls this election day. It is our civic duty, after all!

Besides the long lines that are really just serve as practice for Black Friday; voters in Missouri City showed up before the polls opened at Austin Parkway Elementary to get a jump on the crowds only to find that the long lines were the least of their worries. It’s that damn technology that troubled voters Tuesday morning.

Voter registration machines used to check people in at polling spots were down at that location, which meant one thing… a long wait. Eventually, the glitch was fixed and the lines started moving.

The Cullen voting spot, in Precinct 630, lost power and had to bring in generators to get things working again.

We hope your Election Day experience was picture perfect bringing an end to this ugly campaign season.
