HOUSOTN – A Houston man is recovering after being shot in the leg early Sunday morning.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reported being called to Mystic Wood Drive near Woodsdale at 3:00 a.m. on reports of a man with a gunshot wound.

The man told authorities that he had been changing clothes in his car when he was approached by two Hispanic men who demanded his wallet and keys.  That’s when one of the men pulled out a shotgun and shot the man in the leg with what deputies believe was a slug cartridge.

The man’s vehicle was then stolen.

So far there are no suspects in custody.
