HOUSTON, TX – Talk about a bad case of road rage in Houston.

Saturday night at 11:45 pm, Houston Police officers were called to Hopkins and Fairview on a report of a shooting.

When they arrived, officers learned that the driver of a pick-up had turned north on to Hopkins and another driver had turned south on Hopkins a block up.

The two drivers met head-on, but neither would move out of the way for the other to pass.

After flashing lights and honking at one another proved unsuccessful, one driver backed up around the corner and rolled down their window, pointing a gun and shooting at the truck driver.

The 24-year-old driver of the pick-up was struck in the face.

He was taken to Hermann Hospital in serious but stable condition.

The driver of the other vehicle got away.
