USA- If there’s one day you are free to eat until you are going explode, Thanksgiving is it!

It’s the time to throw caution to the wind and your elastic waistband pants on.  Stuffing shouldn’t just be on your plate, it’s what you should be doing.

If you have ever wondered just how many calories the average American consumes on this day of gluttonous feasting, you need to find better things to think about.

Most of us don’t care or even want to know, but seeing as someone looked into it here’s the word on the street.  The Calorie Control Council guesses  4500 calories are gobbled down.  That is more than twice the average daily allowance.

Some people think the estimate is a gross exaggeration, we think the whole conversation is gross.

It’s just one day!  Eat up!  Enjoy it!  Think about calories on Friday, and be thankful for this one day when calories don’t have to count.
