ALIEF, TX – Now this here is a funky-looking pavilion. Presenting: the Alief Spark Park and Nature Center!

It does a lot more than just draw the eye. The structure will have fans and lights, but they will all be solar powered!

It also has a gutter system to collect rainwater in giant buckets. The water will then be used by the gardeners on the plants nearby.

It’s all designed by University of Houston’s graduate architecture students. Keeping it local and keeping it green!
