It  was the most famous cliff hanger in TV history, one of the most talked about shows of the 1980’s and at the center of the drama was the vicious oil tycoon, JR Ewing. Larry Hagman, the man behind the Stetson, passed away the day after Thanksgiving after complications with cancer. He was 81.

Hagman’s career spanned decades and included several roles in film and television. One role included astronaut Tony Nelson on the hit show, ‘I Dream of Jeannie’.

Hagman will forever be remembered as the evil Ewing, a role he recently revised on a new version of ‘Dallas’, and a role that can never be replaced.
