AUSTIN, TX – ‘Tis the season. And while you’re making your Santa list this year, it looks like there’s one item you won’t have to write down. A study by the University of Texas determined that most babies born in the U.S. are delivered in September. Meaning?

Well, count backward nine months. Yep Christmas time and the month of December are couples’ busiest time for getting-down.

So if you’re looking for a little nookie this holiday season, you’re in luck. And according to a study done by a manufacturer of…adult toys, shall we say…Christmas Eve tops the list for nights most likely to get it on like Donkey Kong.

And while the u.t. study cites things like differences in ovarian function caused by shortening daylight hours and other nonsense for this “rise” in activity, we at NewsFix think the real reason is much simpler: by the time Santa’s loaded the sleigh and making his rounds, no need to worry further about making the naughty list, right?

In fact, it turns out the one guy least likely to enjoy the “added” festivities of Christmas Eve is the jolly-old-elf himself: working late and all-by-himself.

On a side note, new-year’s eve is second on the list of holidays most likely to get down-and-dirty, followed by the day you’re most likely to wake up next to someone you wish you’d never met.

Here’s to the holidays, eh?
