HOUSTON, TX – Using condoms to condone better life choices. That’s what the government want’s troubled teen girls to take away from a new study being conducted by the University of Houston. The Feds are funding a $100,000 study that teaches “condom negotiation” tactics to pregnant or “at-risk” 14 to 17-year-old girls on probation in the Houston area.

The goal of the program, titled; “A Bundled Risk Reduction Intervention for Juvenile Justice Females” is to help these juveniles choose safer lifestyles. The “negotiation” element to the effort teaches these teens how to talk their boyfriends into using condoms. In other words, slipping on a rubber can help you avoid major life slip-ups in the future.
