BOSTON, MA – You may have heard the saying ‘Be careful what you post on Facebook.’ Well, 30-year-old Lindsey Stone didn’t get that memo.

She left Boston and went on a business trip to Washington, D.C. While they were there, a co-worker snapped this photo of her at the Tomb of the Unknowns standing next to a sign that says ‘Silence and Respect’ and she’s flipping the bird. She posted the picture on Facebook and it went viral.

When Lindsey’s job found out about it, they suspended her without pay and eventually fired her. So remember, people: what happens on Facebook doesn’t always stay on Facebook!
