HOUSTON, TX – Start stocking-up on Purcell, folks! Tis the season for Santa, and sickness.

Experts say the flu is off to an early start this year, and it could get bad.  The prominent strain, H3-N2, is apparently kind of a toughie. It’ll make people sicker, longer.

The bad news for us:  we are in ground zero.  Texas is one of the five states where flu activity is highest.

The silver lining is that this season’s flu shot is supposed to really help.
