nkPYONGYANG, NORTH KOREA – North Korea’s controversial rocket launch finally happened on Wednesday, and leader Kim Jong-Un wants to get even more into space soon for “science and the economy.”

Not that they had much of a choice, but hundreds of thousands of North Koreans celebrated the blast-off (which also comes with the added bonus of more international isolation).

If people there can show this much excitement over a rocket, think of how they would handle other, more exciting things — like free elections, or Oprah’s favorite things!

It’s too bad North Korea has to keep pushing the boundaries and freaking everybody out.  It’s times like this that you have to wonder, why can’t we all just “Gangnam” along?
