Houston honors fallen heroes with wreaths

HOUSTON, TX – We know family is at the front of everyone’s mind during this holiday season. Let’s also take some time to think about the local veterans who have fallen.

Thousands of volunteers showed up to the Houston National Cemetery to place wreaths on the gravesites of veterans.

After a short ceremony, nearly 40,000 wreaths were placed.

Due to so many people involved, volunteers were limited to placing two wreaths apiece.

True patriotism during the holidays.
