Chicago, IL – Scientists are currently testing to see if we really are living in a virtual reality.
It all started in 2003 when a University of Oxford philosophy professor boldly claimed that we are almost certainly living in a computer simulation. He even published a paper called ‘The Simulation Argument.’ Sounds legit.
Now a team from Cornell University is out to prove (or disprove) his theory.
We’re not going to bog you down with the science mumbo jumbo, but basically the experiment will use a technique called lattice quantum chromodynamics.
Let’s say we are really living in the Matrix. Scientists could then try to find ways of communicating with the civilization that created us, and even try to communicate with other matrix’s.
Hmm? Would that mean there are multiple Keanu’s? We don’t think the world is ready for that.
