New York Firefighters remains found in home
The Nightmare Before Christmas is supposed to be a scary take on a children’s holiday story, but people in Webster, New York are still reeling from their real-life nightmare before Christmas.
Details surrounding our nation’s latest mass shooting just keep getting scarier. First, we found out 62-year old William Spengler set his house on fire in order to lure emergency responders to his neighborhood.
Then, ready for a military style-ambush, Spengler opened fire shooting four firefighters and killing two. Police say he was armed with a Smith and Wesson 38 caliber revolver, a Mossberg 12 gauge pump shotgun, and a Bushmaster .223 caliber rifle with a flash suppressor.
As is the case with most mass-shooters, cops say Spengler killed himself and now, more disturbing facts are coming to light.
Like the three-page note Spengler left behind offering no motive for the shooting, but describing how he intended to burn his neighborhood down and kill as many people as possible before stopping.
Now, cops are saying there was a body found inside his home.
Police think it’s Spengler’s sister, but are investigating to be sure and are trying to figure out if the victim was killed before the fire was set.
Yet again, we find ourselves trying to find answers surrounding a situation without any explanation.
