How to stick to your New Year’s resolution

USA – Lose weight, cut spending, travel more, find a better job, start your own business, find love, be faithful, quit smoking; so many New Year’s resolutions that end up as wishes in the sand. It’s not like we’re trying to be pessimistic during the week of hope, but let’s face it: only 45% of us will keep our resolutions for six months and only 8% will succeed in reaching our goals. Statistics suck!

Why is it so difficult to keep our New Year’s resolutions? Who knows? Psychologists suggest that if you share your resolutions with your friends or relatives, they’ll provide the support you need to keep on going.

2013, or Eros, if you read it backwards, is meant to be the year of love. Now that’s a sweet New Year’s resolution we can all enjoy.
