HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department needs your help trying to get to the bottom of a drive-by shooting.

Check it out. Police say it happened at the Speedy Mart at 7433 Bissonnet in southwest Houston on December 8th.

Police say the victim, 18-year old Eduardo Magana of Sugar Land, and a family member bought a drink at the convenience store. As they walked back to their car, that’s when things went downhill fast.

Police say a Hispanic male exited a car, walked towards the men and then behind the guys’ SUV. A little bit later, a second suspect runs up and starts shooting at Magana and his relative as they sit in their vehicle. The video doesn’t show it, but police say a third suspected shooter joins in.

Get this: after all that, Magana survived the attack and his family member wasn’t even injured.  Magana was shot in the head and was transported via Life Flight to Memorial Hermann Hospital where he remains in stable condition.

The ending could have been much worse.
