RENO, NV – At Endless Ink in Reno, NV, the sound of the needle competes with new customers talking about Kap’s tats.

‘Kap’ as in Colin Kaepernick, the tatted QB for the Super Bowl-bound San Francisco 49ers.

Nes Adrion has been tatting Kaepernick since 2008, when Kap played for the University of Nevada, Reno. Kap’s tats became famous after he joined the San Francisco 49ers.

Adrion says his new fame and new customers are the American dream he hoped for when he emigrated from the Philippines as a teenager.

Despite inking Kaepernick, Adrion is a die-hard Patriots fan. Even though his team lost, he admits Kaepernick in the big game will mean more money for him.

“Him going to the Super Bowl makes more sense to me. ‘Cause you know he puts money in my pocket.'”

So, Adrion will continue to live the dream, until the next tattooed hero comes along, making him just another guy trying to leave his mark on life.
