HOUSTON, TX – Not sure whether we should congratulate the Houston Police Department, or pat ourselves on the backs, but either way it’s time to celebrate. Crime is down in Houston and things are looking up.

Since taking over and working as a team Mayor Annise Parker and Police Chief McClelland have managed to get the city’s overall crime rate down by 8%.

There’s no clear indication as to what brought on the change, but it’s a good one change indeed.
