Seattle police got a little more than they bargained for at a gun buyback this weekend.

Apparently someone showed up with a missile launcher, and even though the single-use military weapon had already been used, someone in line bought it for a hundred bucks.

Police stepped in, though and confiscated it, but gave the new owner a gift card. Police say they’ll check out the non-functioning device and could possibly give it back to the guy.

But police think it was probably illegally obtained in the first place, so we doubt he’ll be getting his toy back.
