Security a priority for All-Star weekend

HOUSTON, TX – The George R. Brown Convention Center is almost ready. All-Star weekend organizers are putting the final pieces in place before the NBA events begin on Thursday.

Security guards will especially keeping an eye out for attendees who don’t belong. A new trend seems to be people sneaking into places unsuspectingly, pretending to be there on business.

A few college students pulled the move at the Super Bowl. With cameras strapped to their heads, they managed to get into the game. They said they were filming a documentary. NBA officials want to prevent that in Houston.

All Star events run Thursday through Sunday.
