MOSCOW, RUSSIA – This next tale sounds like it could come from Star Wars or that new Die Hard movie.

But this is the real deal, at least for Mikhail Pakhomov, a 36-year-old Russian lawmaker. Well, a former Russian lawmaker.

That’s because someone stuffed his badly beaten body into a barrel of cement just outside of Moscow.

He had been missing for nearly a week before he turned up in the basement of a private garage. The last time anyone saw him alive; three goons were stuffing him into a car and driving off.

Police think this was murder, and they’ve picked up at least five guys, maybe ten, for questioning.

One report says cops like another public official for putting out a hit over an $80 million debt.

Talk about hard currency.
