KANSAS CITY, MO – A Kansas City, Missouri blast sparked flames that could be seen for miles on Tuesday.  In a flash, JJ’s restaurant was cooked.

Amazingly, several people were evacuated minutes before the explosion. There had apparently been a potent smell of gas. But still, more than a dozen people are hurt, and some are now fighting for their lives. On top of that, a body was found in the rubble this morning.

Crews suspect a contractor may have struck an underground natural gas line and caused the blow, but the cause is still under investigation.
