Tanning mom won’t face endangerment charges
NUTLEY, NJ – Remember the woman known as the ‘tanning mom’? Turns out, she will not face child endangerment charges.
Prosecutors had accused 44-year-old Patricia Krentcil of letting her 5-year-old daughter use a stand-up tanning booth, which is against the law in New Jersey.
School officials tipped off police last year when they noticed burns on the girl’s legs.
The mother denied the charges against her.
And a grand jury has decided not to hand down an indictment.
