Government forced spending cuts now in effect

Some arguments can be cute, but it’s not that cute when 85 billion dollars in government spending is concerned.

Those cuts kicked in Friday night after Republican and Democratic lawmakers couldn’t reach a deal.

And, of course, both sides are now blaming the other for the cuts.

But does it really matter who did what here? Because everybody, regardless of their political affiliation, is gonna feel the pinch when jobs start getting cut.

Of course, once both sides agree on a plan, those job cuts will stop.

Lawmakers can then move on to the next big issue, the looming threat of a government shutdown when its funding runs out at the end of March.

Seriously Congress, can’t you all just get along?
