WASHINGTON, D.C. – New Jersey senator Bob Menendez has had his share of Dominican tale recently, but it seems this tale keeps getting stranger.

In November, the conservative web site The Daily Caller ran what it claimed was an interview with two hookers from the Dominican Republic. They said Menendez stiffed each of them 400 bucks for a night of sex.

One thing led to another, and the FBI ended up raiding the Miami offices of the senator’s really good friend, Salomon Melgen, but not because of stiffed hookers, but because the IRS says he’s stiffing Uncle Sam out of millions of dollars.

Melgen also is in the middle of a divorce, which may, or may not, have played a role in the hooker tale.

And now, a Dominican hooker is saying she never met the senator and was never stiffed by him for sex or for anything else. And she apparently provided a notarized statement obtained by the Washington Post.

But, the Daily Caller says the post hooker is not their hooker. They don`t know whose hooker she is, but they’re standing behind theirs.

And Menendez is standing behind his story that he has never stiffed any Dominican hooker.
