teethTEMECULA, CA – No one likes getting dental work done, but one man’s trip to the dentist ended up being his last.

Marek Lapinski, 25, didn’t like going to the dentist. In fact, his family says he was terrified of going. But Marek needed to get his wisdom teeth taken out, so he set up an appointment and went.

The ambulance report says Marek was undergoing surgery when he started to cough. That’s when Marek was given Propofol. Shortly after, he went into cardiac arrest.

There’s also reports showing he might have been given too much anesthesia.

For now, the family has to wait on autopsy results to see how a seemingly healthy man died from a seemingly routine procedure.

Overdose of medication from the dentist. A visit to the dentist for a few fillings change my life. I was 13 years old, I was a cheerleader, ran track and very active. a few hours after leaving the dentist I felt a lil dizzy. Didn't really think nothing of it. I stayed out of school for a month. I would get dizzy and collapse in the hall. I also started sleeping a lot, couldn't stay awake to long. I couldn't even walk around the corner to my best friend apartment she would have to come and get me and walk with me there in soon as I get there I would fall asleep. I started to talk with my tounge, which was hard for other's to understand me. Know one knew what was wrong with me. I went to the ER and my results came back as my cholesterol was very unbalanced. Today I'm 25 and everything still take off affect on my life. I can't continue College i will fall a sleep. while I'm driving I will have two seconds doze than jump out of it which is very dangerous. I still to this point I don't know what to do, but one thing I do know is that I wasn't like this until I lift the dentist. I have my moments when I cry because no one will ever understand what I have been through in the things that I cant achieve because of this one visit to the dentist.
