reeseATLANTA, GA – The drama for Hollywood actress Reese Witherspoon has moved off the screen.

Reese and her husband Jim Toth were arrested in Atlanta, Georgia. An officer pulled them over after he noticed their car weaving in and out of traffic.

Jim was booked for DUI, and Reese for disorderly conduct.

During the arrest, Reese’s ego took center stage and she allegedly asked the officer if he knew who she was. He said no, to which she reportedly replied, “Well, you’re about to find out.”

We guess Reese sobered up fast because she issued a statement saying she was sorry and embarrassed, and that she had clearly had one too many.

Reese says she understands the officer was just doing his job, and not only does she have the utmost respect for the police, but she’s truly sorry.

You know, the last time Reese gave such a good speech was when she won an Oscar for ‘Walk the Line.’ But it looks like this was one line she definitely wasn’t able to walk.
