ASTROSHOUSTON, TX – Get a hot dog, maybe some peanuts and fight the crowds. Maybe not that last part if you’re at Minute Maid Park.

An announced 11,686 were in attendance for Wednesday’s Astros game. This is a potential record low for Minute Maid Park.

Let’s put this in perspective: the Houston Aeros, who are in their final season in Houston, had 2,000 more people at their last game than the Astros had Wednesday.

Minute Maid had about one fan for every receiving yard Andre Johnson has had with the Texans.

Here’s another one: there were more riders in last weekend’s BP MS150!

At least the Astros won! It was 10 to 3 against Seattle. That’s nearly a run for every thousand people there.
