DAYTON, OH – It was some tense moments for firefighters in Ohio. A home, engulfed in flames and the homeowner trapped inside.

Neighbors stood by as firefighters feverishly worked to put out the fire and get the man out. Luckily, they were able to pull him out of the house. They carried him through the front door and placed him on a stretcher. He was taken to the hospital in critical, but stable condition.

Shortly after firefighters got the fire under control, they heard another call for help. Well, more like a bark! The homeowner’s dog was trapped upstairs, barking out a second-story window. A firefighter grabbed a ladder and made his way up, rescuing the wet and scared pup.

And get this; after the fire was put out, fire officials discovered two other dogs who also survived the fire.

That’s why we give this story two paws way up!
