Tea Party groups suing the IRS

teapartyWASHINGTON, DC – Things are getting juicy on Capitol Hill. Twenty-five conservative and tea party groups have filed a lawsuit against the IRS.

The American Center for Law and Justice filed the suit. They’re claiming the Obama administration unlawfully obstructed applications for tax-exempt status because of their political beliefs.

ACLJ officials want the court to rule that Attorney General Eric Holder, treasury secretary Jack Lew and former IRS commissioner Steven Miller all broke laws.
