Not only is the U.S. war on marijuana costly and time consuming, but reports now show that it’s racially biased too.

According to the American Civil Liberties Union, black and white Americans use pot at about the same rate. However, African-Americans were nearly four times as likely to get arrested for marijuana possession as of 2010.

So the facts are out there: is it blatant racism in marijuana arrests? It’s a possibility.
