floodingWEST ALTON, MO – Mother Nature is at it again. This time, it`s serious flooding in Missouri. Just five months ago, the Mississippi River was at near record lows from drought. Since then it’s up almost 45 feet.

Now flooding threatens communities near Saint Louis. Commercial districts are underwater, some whole towns are isolated and residents are being forced to evacuate.

On Monday, the Coast Guard shutdown part of the river to barge traffic because the water is too dangerous to navigate. Everyone is just hoping the rain will go away.
