Persistent parents and North Forest supporters gathered at an H.I.S.D. board meeting to talk about the troubled district’s future and vent their frustrations. Even members of the H.I.S.D. school board admitted the process has been difficult and even awkward.
Last month North Forest was granted a temporary restraining order that halted the district’s merger with H.I.S.D.
A judge in Austin is supposed to make a new ruling on whether or not to halt the merger on Friday, June 14th.
