22 illegal immigrants found Northeast Houston

raidHOUSTON, TX – Houston police, along with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement busted a stash house in Northeast Houston, but they didn’t find drugs inside.

According to Homeland Security officials, the home on Veenstra held 22 people who were smuggled into the U.S. from El Salvador, Dominica, Guatemala, Honduras and Mexico.

Five alleged smugglers were also arrested.
