putinGULF OF FINLAND – Okay, be honest.

Who hasn’t thought this whole Eddie ‘The Snowman’ Snowden thing is something out of a James Bond movie?

Yeah, you know you have.

Well, now, Russian President Vladimir Putin seems to be turning fantasy into reality.

This week, camera’s caught Putin doing his best Stromberg impression inside a mini-sub, supposedly checking out the wreck of a Russian ship at the bottom of the Gulf of Finland.

Stromberg is the James Bond villain who ran an international terrorist organization from a submersible platform in the film ‘The Spy Who Loved Me.’

Now, The Snowman,  the high-school drop-out who stole National Security Agency secrets and has been hanging out in the Moscow International Airport trying to hitch a ride to any country that will grant him asylum, says he might be willing to ask Putin for temporary asylum. But to get it, he’ll have to play by Putin’s rules.

And we all know that whatever Putin wants, Putin gets.
