sixflagsARLINGTON, TX – Roller coaster riders at the Six Flags Over Texas in Arlington got a thrill they never saw coming.

Carmen Brown was next in line for ‘The Texas Giant’ when she heard the screams. That’s when onlookers saw in horror Rosy Esparza falling to her death as the ride took off.

For the next two minutes, Rosie’s family members who were on the ride with her had to ride out the coaster.

Some witnesses say that Rosie told a Six Flags employee that she was scared her restraint didn’t lock properly.

Six Flags is investigating along with the German roller coaster company that made the ride. They’re sending officials to the amusement park to inspect it. The roller coaster will stay off the rails until the investigation is complete.
