fireSOUTH CAROLINA – If Jonathan “Tig” Willard was late to training camp with the Tennessee Titans, he had a pretty good excuse.

The rookie linebacker out of Clemson was driving from South Carolina to Tennessee when he spotted smoke coming out of a SUV on Interstate 40.

He sped up next to the woman driving and told her to pull over.

When Willard approached the SUV he noticed three small children in the backseat and a dog.

There was no time to play around, Willard immediately tackled the situation. With the help of another driver they started pulling the kids from the backseat.

They were able to get everyone out safely before the SUV exploded into flames a couple of minutes later.

The woman will always remember this Titan and his heroic save.
