NEW YORK, NY – Something’s rotten in the big apple.
Apparently, the people running New York City voted the get rid of Madison Square Garden completely in order to make room for an expansion to Penn Station.
Really?! How can you just throw away a piece of iconic history like that?
The permit to operate expired last January and the city is giving the current occupants, like division champs New York Knicks and playoff contenders New York Rangers, 10 years to vacate.
All of this is a bit strange since the 45-year-old building in the midst of 3-year $986 million renovation.
Who knows, maybe there just making room for the shuttle they stole from Houston. You never know?!
