OAKVILLE, ONTARIO – Your wife is in labor and you’re close to winning one million dollars at the RBC Canadian Open golf tournament — what do you do?

That was the question golfer Hunter Mahan was faced with.

He was leading 13-under par after 36 holes and was waiting to tee off in the third round when he got the call.

For Hunter there was no question, he packed up his clubs and withdrew from the tournament and hopped on a plane back to Dallas to be by his wife Kandi’s side.

The next day he tweeted that the pair had welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Zoe.

Mahan may have left behind over a million dollars on the green; but to be there for the birth of his first child — well that is priceless.
