UNITED KINGDOM – One thing is for certain: a lot of brides aren’t scared to buck tradition!

An online wedding directory called Wedding Days talked to some brides-to-be to get their stances on some of the big wedding traditions. Surprisingly, 26% of brides wanted to keep their maiden name.

It’s certainly a matter of opinion-some women feel that by changing their last name they are conforming to old ideas.

However, some traditions are still widely supported! 76% of brides still wanted their fathers to walk them down the aisle.
