FAR ROCKAWAY, NY – The big one finally came up for Anthony Weiner.

For those of you not keeping up, Weiner is the guy who resigned from Congress for sending pictures of his namesake to women other than his wife.

He then put himself in the race for New York mayor only to admit that he never stopped sexting.

He’s shriveled to fourth in the polls, but he won’t pull out early.

And that brings us to the hard question from a constituent that came up during a campaign stop in Far Rockaway: ‘I would like to know how can I trust you with my family and my community when you can’t be trusted in your own family?’

Weiner responded by saying, “You, sir, know some embarrassing things about me in my personal life. That’s part of being an elected official, I guess . . . But, sir, I didn’t do anything to you. . . I tried to deliver for Rock, be here, answer questions, you know, be as up front as possible. I didn’t hide.”

Note to Weiner: maybe you should think about doing some hiding, or at least hiding some things.
