SAN DIEGO – Daniel Chong is a 25-year-old University of California San Diego student. He was swept up in a drug enforcement administration raid back in April. Chong says he was just visiting a friend at a house in San Diego that was raided. DEA agents took him into custody and forgot him in a cell for five days with no food or water.

The poor guy had to drink his own urine to survive.

DEA agents say he was never formally arrested or charged.

This whole experience may have left him with a horrible taste in his mouth but let’s hope this helps, Chong was awarded a $4.1 settlement.

A big chunk of cash, for an even bigger mistake.
