HOUSTON – The sounds of jazz are invading the Bayou City. The 23rd annual Houston International Jazz Festival kicks off this weekend.

Aside from the all-star line-up, the Summer Jazz Workshop All-Stars’ will be performing, too.

The Jazz Festival serves as one of the major fundraisers for Jazz Education, Inc. – a non-profit organization that aims at helping children stay out of trouble, and keeping them involved in educational activities.
