HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Humane Society was joined by mascots from the Rockets, Dynamo, UH Cougars and the Skeeters to get some homeless pets a new home.

“We have hundreds of animals right now currently up for adoption both dogs and cats,’ says Monica Schmidt with Houston Humane Society. ‘All of them are spayed or neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, they’re ready to go into a forever home and with all these mascots teaming up we hope to empty our kennels today.”

The mascots, taking the day off from firing up fans, instead there to get families excited about adopting a new furry family member.

The mascot appearance is done, but the campaign to find these animals, homes is an everyday process and seriously, who could say no to this face.
